Cognition was established in 1989 as Multi Serve Education Trust. Cognition grew out of the fundamental reforms in New Zealand education over the past 20 years and supported the design and implementation of many of those changes. Cognition is committed to providing the strategic thinking and planning needed by other countries to bring about reform in their education systems.
